Virtual World
- In episode 108, this card appears in a flashback explained by Leichter when he reminds Seto Kaiba that his birthday gift from Gozaburo Kaiba was where all the mistakes made by Seto himself began.
- In episode 109, Leichter uses this card against Kaiba. He uses this card to send "Spring of Rebirth" to the Graveyard and gain 1000 Life Points.
- This card also appears in a flashback Leichter has when he explains to Seto that his treachery began when Gozaburo gave him a large amount of dollars to test Seto's business skills.
Waking the Dragons
- In episode 167, Alister draws this card against Kaiba.
Grand Championship
- In episode 187, Solomon Muto uses this card during his Duel against Joey Wheeler while the former was disguised as Apdnarg Otum. He uses this card to send "Mirage of Nightmare" to the Graveyard and gain 1000 Life Points. This prevents Solomon from having to discard cards from his hand during his next Standby Phase by to the effect of "Mirage of Nightmare".
- In episode 195, Kaiba uses this card against Zigfried von Schroeder. He uses this card to send a Set card to the Graveyard and gain 1000 Life Points, allowing Kaiba to pay the cost for "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End's" effect.
- In episode 198, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Leon von Schroeder. He uses this card to send his set "Chain Destruction" to the Graveyard and gain 1000 Life Points.
Dawn of the Duel
- In episode 200, this card appears within Kaiba's briefcase when he opens it up and takes his Duel Disk with him.

Seven Stars
- In episode 5, this card is shown in Jaden Yuki's hand during his Duel against Titan. In the next episode, Titan's "Terrorking Archfiend" attacks Jaden directly, but Jaden activates this card to send "Mirage of Nightmare" to the Graveyard and gain 1000 Life Points in order to prevent his loss. Later, Titan activates "Double Spell" to activate this card from the Graveyard as his card, sending a set card he controls to the Graveyard and gaining 1000 Life Points, allowing Titan to pay the Maintenance Cost of "Skull Archfiend of Lightning".
- In episode 14, Jaden uses this card against Jinzo. He uses this card to send "Mirage of Nightmare" to the Graveyard and gain 1000 Life Points.
- In episode 19, Jaden uses this card against Dimitri while the latter was using Yugi's Deck. He uses this card to send a Set card to the Graveyard and gain 1000 Life Points. On Dimitri's turn, he activates "Spider Web" to take this card from Jaden's Graveyard and add it to his hand. He then activates "Monster Reincarnation" and chains this card to the activation of "Monster Reincarnation". Due to the effect of this card, Dimitri sends "Monster Reincarnation" and two set cards to the Graveyard in order to gain 3000 Life Points. Due to the effect of "Monster Reincarnation", Dimitri adds "Kuriboh" from his Graveyard to his hand.
- In episode 21, this card appeared while Jaden was rebuilding his deck.
- In episode 22, Jaden uses this card against Bastion Misawa. He uses this card to send "Mirage of Nightmare" to the Graveyard and gain 1000 Life Points.
- In episode 28, Jaden uses this card against Gravekeeper's Chief. When Chief's "Gravekeeper's Assailant" (which has 2000 ATK 2000 by the effect of "Necrovalley") attacks Jaden's "Dark Catapulter", Jaden then activates this card to send "Mirage of Nightmare" and his face-down "Fusion Sage" to the Graveyard and gain 2000 Life Points in order to prevent his loss.
- In episode 30, Jaden uses this card against Nightshroud. After the effect of "Mirage of Nightmare" resolves, Jaden activates this card to send "Mirage of Nightmare to the Graveyard and gain 1000 Life Points.
- In episode 38, Jaden uses this card against the Admiral. When the Admiral activates the effect of "Levia-Dragon - Daedalus" to destroy all other cards on the field and all cards in Jaden's hand, Jaden activates this card to send his face-down "Insurance" to the Graveyard and gain 1000 Life Points.
- In episode 52, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Zane Truesdale. When Zane's "Cyber End Dragon" (which has 8000 ATK by the effect of "Power Bond") attacks Jaden's "Elemental HERO Wildedge", Jaden activates "Soul Union" and chains this card. Jaden selects "Elemental HERO Bladedge" in his Graveyard for "Soul Union's" effect, increasing "Wildedge's" ATK by 2600 to 5200. This card then sends "Soul Union" to the Graveyard to increase Jaden's Life Points by 1000. This move prevents Jaden's loss.
- This card also appears in a flashback Jaden has when he explains how he had 100 remaining Life Points after the attack.
Society of Light
- In episode 95, Syrus Truesdale uses this card against Zane. When Zane's "Cyberdark Dragon" (which has 8800 ATK equipping "Cyber End Dragon") attacks Syrus' "Pair Cycroid" (which has 3200 ATK by to the effect of "Power Bond", Syrus activates this card to send "Mirror Damage" to the Graveyard and gain 1000 Life Points. Since "Mirror Damage" was removed from the field, "Pair Cycroid" is destroyed.
- This card appears in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX closing song, Borderline Battle.

- In episode 92, this card can be seen on a food menu.
Scripted Duels
- In the non-canon duel World Championship 2013 Special: Mai vs. Yugi, Yugi chains this card to Mai's "Harpie's Feather Duster", sending "Spellbinding Circle" and "Swords of Revealing Light" to the Graveyard to gain 2000 Life Points.
- In the non-canon duel North American WCQ 2014 Special: Astral vs. Yugi, Yugi draws this card by the effect of "Kuribandit". The same turn, Yugi sets this card. The next turn, Yugi chains this card when Astral targets "Swords of Revealing Light" with "Tornado", sending his "Swords of Revealing Light" and set "Makiu, the Magical Mist" to the Graveyard to gain 2000 Life Points.
