- In episode 84, Yami Bakura uses this card against Yami Yugi. After he Normal Summons this card, Bakura activates this card's effect to discard one random card in his hand and destroy "Dark Necrofear" (who was on Yugi's side of the field due to "Monster Reborn"). This reactivates the effects of "Dark Sanctuary". Bakura then Tributes this card to keep "Dark Sanctuary" on the field.

- In episode 186, this card can be seen in the DuelTek 760's hand during during its duel against Yami Yugi while the latter was using Rick's Deck.
Scripted Duels
- In the non-canon duel YCS Providence 2012 Special: Mai, Joey and Yugi vs. Pegasus and Bakura, Yami Bakura uses this card against Yugi. He Normal Summons this card in Defense Mode on his first and activates this card's effect, discarding "The Earl of Demise" to destroy Yugi's "Dark Magician Girl" (summoned via "Monster Reborn") and "Dark Magician" (summoned via "Sage's Stone"). Later, this card is attacked by Yugi's "Beta the Magnet Warrior", but the attack is negated by "Dark Spirit of the Silent" and this card is attacked unsuccessfully by "Catapult Turtle", causing battle damage to Yugi. The next turn, this card is Tributed for the Tribute Summon of "Dark Ruler Ha Des".
