In episode 94, Seto Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Ishizu Ishtar. After receiving an image of the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from Marik Ishtar's Millennium Rod, Kaiba decides to win the Duel with "Blue-Eyes" instead of "Obelisk the Tormentor". He uses this card to Special Summon "Gadget Soldier" from his Graveyard, which was sent to the Graveyard due to Ishizu's "Exchange of the Spirit". Kaiba then Tributes "Gadget Soldier" and "Obelisk the Tormentor" to Tribute Summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".

In episode 178, Kaiba uses this card during his Tag Duel with Yami Yugi against Dartz. He uses this card to Special Summon "Blade Knight" from his Graveyard, which was sent to the Graveyard after being Tributed to pay the cost of his "Reflect Energy". He then Tributes "Blade Knight" to Tribute Summon "Kaiser Glider".

In episode 189, Rebecca Hawkins uses this card during her Duel against Vivian Wong. She uses this card to Special Summon "Fire Princess" from her Graveyard, which was Tributed for the Tribute Summon of "Guardian Angel Joan" the same turn. After Rebecca's "Guardian Angel Joan" attacks and destroys Vivian's "Dragon Lady", Rebecca uses the effect of "Guardian Angel Joan" to increase her Life Points by the Original ATK of "Dragon Lady". This activates the effect of "Fire Princess", inflicting 500 effect damage to Vivian and winning Rebecca the duel.

In episode 200, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Yami Bakura. He uses this card to Special Summon "Vorse Raider" from the Graveyard, which was destroyed by battle by Bakura's "Diabound Kernal". He then Tributes "Vorse Raider" and "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" to Tribute Summon another "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".

The original Japanese dialogue confirms "Silent Doom" uses its TCG/OCG effect. No such distinction is made in the English dub.

In episode 8, this card can be seen as Chumley Huffington is rebuilding his Deck while sitting in a tree.

In episode 9, Chumley uses this card during his Duel against his father. He uses this card to Special Summon "Big Koala" from his Graveyard, which was destroyed by his father's "Flipping the Table".

In episode 19, Jaden Yuki uses this card during his Duel against Dimitri while the latter was using Yugi's Deck. He uses this card to Special Summon "Elemental Hero Avian" from his Graveyard, which was destroyed by battle by Dimitri's "Dark Magician Girl".

In episode 28, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Gravekeeper's Chief. He discards this card and "Elemental Hero Bubbleman" in order to activate "Transcendent Wings".

In episode 30, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Nightshroud. He uses this card to Special Summon "Elemental HERO Sparkman" from his Graveyard, which was used as a Fusion Material Monster for "Elemental HERO Thunder Giant".

In episode 34, Kaibaman uses this card during his Duel against Jaden. He uses this card to Special Summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from his Graveyard, which was destroyed by battle by Jaden's "Elemental HERO Bladedge".

In episode 88, Chazz Princeton uses this card during his duel against Jaden Yuki. He draws this card via the effect of Jaden's "Neo-Spacian Glow Moss". On the last turn of the Duel, Chazz activates this card to Special Summon "Ojama Yellow" from his Graveyard, which was destroyed by battle by Jaden's "White Knight Lord".

In episode 104, Jaden plays this card during his Duel against Sartorius. He uses this card to Special Summon "Elemental Hero Neos" from the Graveyard, which was destroyed by battle by Satorius' "Arcana Force EX - The Light Ruler". Jaden then Normal Summons "Neo-Spacian Grand Mole". Jaden then Contact Fuses "Neos" with "Grand Mole" to form "Elemental Hero Grand Neos".

In the non-canon duel North American WCQ 2012 Special: Joey vs. Kaiba, Joey uses this card to Special Summon "Alligator's Sword" from the Graveyard, which was destroyed by battle by Kaiba's "Battle Ox".
