Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

This card had this effect in the anime "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by sending 3 Trap Cards from your side of the field to the Graveyard or by its own effect. This card gains 1000 ATK and DEF for each Trap Card in your Graveyard. When this card is Summoned, you can destroy 1 Set Spell or Trap Card on your opponent's side of the field. Spell and Trap Cards cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation. If this card is destroyed, during your next turn you may Special Summon this card from your Graveyard by discarding 1 Trap Card."

  • In episode 38, this card appears when Admiral explains to Jaden that even though he had been using money to help him get everything he wants, he was never able to get the three Sacred Beasts through money.
  • In episode 46, this card and the other two Sacred Beasts appear when Professor Banner explains to Jaden that he intends to create the Philosopher's Stone with the power of Sacred Beasts alone.
  • In episode 48, Kagemaru takes the Sacred Beasts from their hiding place after the Spirit Keys open the lock mechanism that keeps them from within his reach. He then challenges Jaden to a Duel as he can only gain full control of the Sacred Beasts by defeating Jaden in a Duel. Kagemaru uses this card in his Duel against Jaden Yuki. He sends "Mispolymerization", "Penalty Game!" and "Statue of the Wicked" to the Graveyard to Summon it. Since there are three Traps in Kagemaru's Graveyard, this card's effect increased its ATK to 3000. It then destroys Jaden's face-down "Mirror Gate" via its effect. This card then attacks and destroys "Elemental HERO Burstinatrix". Jaden then destroys it with "Elemental HERO Tempest" powered up by the effect of "Skyscraper". Kagemaru discards "Chain Burst" to Special Summon it. Since another Trap has been placed in his Graveyard, this card's attack points increase to 4000. He then has this card attack "Tempest" with the latter's ATK being increased by the effect of "Skyscraper". Jaden sends his face-down "Transcendent Wings" to the Graveyard via "Tempest's" effect to prevent its destruction, however he still takes Battle Damage. Jaden then destroys this card with "Tempest" powered up by the effect of "Skyscraper" and by the effect of "H - Heated Heart". Kagemaru discards "Jar of Greed" to revive it once more. Since another Trap has been placed in the Graveyard, this card's ATK increased to 5000. In the next episode, it attacks directly, but Jaden activates "The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh" to Special Summon "Winged Kuriboh" from his Deck. This caused a replay to occur and Kagemaru chooses to have this card destroy "Winged Kuriboh". When Kagemaru attacks "Elemental HERO Neo Bubbleman" with this card, Jaden activates "Bubble Illusion" to activate one Trap from his hand. He chooses to activate "Hero's Rule 1: Five Freedoms" which then banishes the Trap Cards in Kagemaru's Graveyard, letting "Neo Bubbleman" counterattack and destroy this card since its ATK was reduced back to 0. Kagemaru then discards "Cemetery Bomb" to revive it back in Defense Position. Its effect then increases its ATK and DEF to 1000. A bit later this card's ATK increased to 2000 after Kagemaru discarded "Divine Wrath" from his hand via "Phantasmal Martyrs". On Kagemaru's next turn, he switches this card into Attack Position. After Jaden defuses his "Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman" back into its separate Fusion Material Monsters, Kagemaru has this card destroy Jaden's "Elemental HERO Sparkman" while he has "Raviel" destroy "Flame Wingman". This card played no other part in the duel after that. After Kagemaru is defeated, Jaden and his friends return the Sacred Beasts back to their secure location.
  • In episode 62, this card appears in one of the many flashback bubbles Jaden sees in as he travels into Neo Space.
  • In episode 65, this card appears in the Duel Magazine that Jaden reads and the Duel Magazine that Syrus reads.
  • In episode 149, Yubel plays this card against Adrian Gecko while possessing Jesse. It is Summoned by sending three "Delta Barriers" to the Graveyard. Since there are three Continuous Traps in Yubel's Graveyard, this card gains 3000 ATK. Adrian then reminds Yubel that since "Burden of the Mighty" is still out, this card loses 1000 ATK as it is Level 10. Yubel then equips this card with "Eternal Reverse". She then uses the latter's effect to set Adrian's "Burden of the Mighty" face-down and render its effects useless. Yubel then uses this card's effect to destroy "Burden of the Mighty" since it's now face-down. It is then attacked by Adrian's "Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord" with Adrian sending "Right Leg of the Forbidden One" to the Graveyard to increase "Exodius"'s ATK to 4000. Yubel then sends "Eternal Reverse" to the Graveyard to prevent this card's destruction however she still takes Battle Damage from the attack. She later uses "Dimension Fusion Destruction" to fuse it with the other two Sacred Beasts to Fusion Summon "Armityle the Chaos Phantom".
  • In both the Japanese and English versions the attack name of this card is Hyper Blaze, while its effect of destroying face-down Spells and Traps is, appropriately called Trap Destruction.
