OCG Rulings
- The "At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles an opponent's monster: You can attach that monster to this card as a face-up Xyz Material." effect is a Trigger Effect. (It can be activated at the start of the Damage Step before face-down monsters are flipped face-up. This effect does not target.)[1]
- The "Once per turn: You can inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each Xyz Material attached to this card." effect is an Ignition Effect. (It cannot be activated if this card does not have any Xyz Material.)[1]
- The "Once per turn: You can detach any number of Xyz Materials from this card; inflict 800 damage to your opponent for each." effect is an Ignition Effect. (Detaching 1 or more Xyz Materials from this card is a cost to activate this effect.)[1]
