• This card can be searched via "Sangan", "Last Will", "Magician's Circle", and "UFO Turtle".

• Blast Magician is especially effective against "Spirit Reaper" or "Marshmallon". Although, at times, they can keep your attack from reaching, destroying either of those cards can prevent either them from Stalling on your next turn, or Tribute Fodder, on your opponent's next round, for "Monarchs", etc.

• By using this card in conjunction with "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" and "Gearfried the Iron Knight" to wipe out some very powerful monsters.
  • If you use this combo at least 8 times, you could wipe out a "Five-Headed Dragon".
• Use stalling card like swords of revealing light, Gravity bind to block out monsters like Five-Headed Dragon and stall long enough to destroy monsters like that.
• This card works well with Tempest Magician and Spell Power Grasp, as you can add a lot of spell counters on him in a short time to kill powerful opposing monsters.
• Use Riryoku or Shrink to facilitate this card's effect use
