- In the manga, this card was originally a Non-Synchro Effect Monster. Despite the non-existence of Synchros during the GX era, this card was still made into a Synchro Monster anyways.
- This card has a LIGHT Attribute counterpart, "Light End Dragon".
- "Dark End Dragon" appears in the artwork of "Wicked Rebirth".
- This card appears to be the dark half of "Light and Darkness Dragon" since it's used by Chazz Princeton in the manga, and its self-attack reducing effect is similar to that of "Light and Darkness Dragon".
- The attack miling effect is also similar to "Darklord Desire's".
- Despite it's name, it has no connection to "Cyber End Dragon" or "Cyberdark Dragon".
- The face on its belly resembles that of a Gengar or Dusknoir from Pokémon.
- This card's effect to send cards to the graveyard but not destroy them is similar to "Codarus" and "Crystal Abundance".
