Card Tips:Dark End Dragon
- By equipping "Moon Mirror Shield" to this card, this allows it to reset its ATK to its original value after the battle.
- Ways to Synchro Summon this card in a "Disaster Dragon" Deck: Use "Delta Flyer" with either "Divine Dragon Apocralyph", "Vice Dragon", "Lancer Dragonute" (searchable via "Masked Dragon"), "Axe Dragonute", or, less commonly, with "Infernal Dragon", "Rare Metal Dragon" or "Darkfire Dragon" (Fusion Summoned via "Instant Fusion").
- While you control no monsters, Special Summon "Vice Dragon" with its effect. Then, activate "A Wingbeat of Giant Dragon" to clear your opponent's back row. Afterwards, Special Summon "Vice Dragon" again and Normal Summon "Delta Flyer" and tune them for this card, without worrying about its Summon being negated or it being destroyed.
- This card is great to get rid of monsters who cannot be destroyed by battle/card effects, have effects that activate when they are destroyed (by battle or card effect), or potential face-down monsters with dangerous effects, like "Tiras, Keeper of Genesis", "Gachi Gachi Gantetsu", "Wind-Up Zenmaines", "Number 39: Utopia", "Spirit Reaper", "Marshmallon", "Gellenduo", "Reaper on the Nightmare", "Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter", "XX-Saber Emmersblade", "Super-Nimble Mega Hamster", "Mystic Tomato", "Number C101: Silent Honor DARK" or any monster with ATK > 2600.
- You can constantly reuse this card by using it for a Tribute or otherwise sending it to the Graveyard, and Special Summoning it again with "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon".
- This card can be Summoned in a "T.G." Deck. While your opponent controls a monster and you do not, Special Summon "T.G. Striker" from your hand, then Special Summon "T.G. Warwolf" with its own effect, followed by another "Warwolf". Tune "Striker" and "Warwolf" to Synchro Summon "T.G. Wonder Magician", then tune "Wonder Magician" with the other "Warwolf" to Synchro Summon this card. Given the immense search power of "T.G." monsters, this is actually quite easy to set up.
- The advantage of this play is that you can destroy an opponent's Spell/Trap Card with "Wonder Magician", clearing the way for "Dark End Dragon". In this way, you can bait out cards like "Fiendish Chain" or "Bottomless Trap Hole" without committing all of your resources, as opposed to losing everything by Synchro Summoning "Dark End Dragon" in one step.
- However, if you are the only player with Spell/Trap Cards Set, it is best to tune "Striker" with your two "Warwolfs" in one step, to avoid destroying your own cards, since the effect of "Wonder Magician" is mandatory.
- This card can easily become vulnerable. This makes it an excellent candidate for "Silver Wing".
- This card is an excellent way to rid the field of potentially dangerous or game breaking monsters whose effects only activate when destroyed.
- This card can work exceptionally well in "Tele-Dad" Decks since the majority of monsters in the deck are DARK Attribute.
- When this card gets weak enough, use it with "Deck Devastation Virus".
- When your opponent attacks your weak "Dark End Dragon", you can use "Forbidden Chalice" to boost its ATK and reset its original ATK.
- Protect this card using "Slip of Fortune". During your Standby Phase, it will regain its ATK & DEF.
- Use "Reverse Trap" on your weakened "Dark End Dragon" to give it a HUGE ATK boost for one turn.
- This card can be easily Summoned via "Summoner Monk".
- This card can be easily Summoned with "Destiny HERO - Malicious" and a Level 2 Tuner monster, for example: "Plaguespreader Zombie", "Shiba-Warrior Taro" or "Krebons".
- Use "Book of Moon", "Interdimensional Matter Transporter", "Dimensionhole", "Book of Eclipse", "Synchro Soldier", "Forbidden Chalice" or "Tsukuyomi" to reset the ATK and DEF of "Dark End Dragon".
- When this card's ATK is too low, Tribute it for "Advance Draw".
- This card can be easily Summoned with "Chaos-End Master" and "Sphere of Chaos".
- This card can be easily Summoned with "Fabled Raven" and "Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World" or "Sillva, Warlord of Dark World".
- In a "Hopeless Dragon" or "Disaster Dragon" build, you can use "Armageddon Knight" or "Dark Grepher" as the DARK non-Tuner monster along with "Delta Flyer" as the Tuner monster (use the effect of "Delta Flyer" on "Armageddon Knight" or "Dark Grepher").
- You can use "Alector, Sovereign of Birds" to reset this card's ATK every turn after you use its effect.
- In a "Blackwing" Deck, you can Normal Summon "Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn", then Special Summon "Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind" to Summon this card.
- Use "De-Synchro" to reset the ATK of "Dark End Dragon" and allow it to reuse its effect, or to switch to a stronger Synchro Monster after you get rid of cards on the field.
- In a Predaplant deck, this card can be Synchro Summoned using Predaplant Banksiogre.
