- Instead of being modeled after an American superhero like the rest of the "Elemental HERO" monsters, this monster is based off of the supervillain Avalanche.
- This card has a WATER, FIRE, LIGHT, DARK, and WIND counterpart: "Elemental HERO Absolute Zero", "Elemental HERO Nova Master", "Elemental HERO The Shining", "Elemental HERO Escuridao", and "Elemental HERO Great Tornado", respectively.
- This monster has a couple of opposites to "Elemental HERO Great Tornado" (which reflects the rivalry between WIND and EARTH).
- "Great Tornado" sports bright colors while this card sports dark colors.
- "Great Tornado" has its right arm stretched out in the northwest part of its artwork while this monster has its left arm stretched out in the southeast part of its artwork.
- "Great Tornado" has 2200 DEF while this card has 2200 ATK.
- While both monsters can halve the ATK of an opponent's monster upon being Fusion Summoned, "Great Tornado" halves the ATK and DEF of all opposing monsters while this card just halves the ATK of one opposing monster.
- This monster has a couple of opposites to "Elemental HERO Great Tornado" (which reflects the rivalry between WIND and EARTH).
- This card can be considered an "Elemental HERO" counterpart of "Evil HERO Dark Gaia".
- This could also possibly be the advanced form of "Elemental HERO Clayman".
- The word "Gaia" means Earth in Latin.
- This card is the only Level 6 of the Attribute-based "Elemental HERO" Fusion Monsters, while all others are Level 8.
- This monster appears in the artwork of "Construct Element".
