The May 2003 Forbidden and Limited List was the seventh Forbidden and Limited list in the TCG, going into effect on May 8, 2003.[1] This list updated the previous April 2003 list, changing three cards (one from Semi-Limited and two from Unlimited) to Limited, one card from Semi-Limited Limited, and was also the first Forbidden and Limited list to specify that the original English-print Egyptian God cards (Obelisk the Tormentor, Slifer the Sky Dragon, The Winged Dragon of Ra) are Illegal for sanctioned tournament play. This list was followed by the July 2003 Forbidden and Limited List.
