Trivia

  • These cards are similar to the "Arcana Force" archetype in that they are based on Tarot Cards.
  • These cards are similar to the "Koa'ki Meiru" archetype in that they revolve around the use of a specific name of spells.
  • Many other cards in the OCG have the word "Madou" or どう in their Japanese names. For example "Breaker the Magical Warrior," "Defender, the Magical Knight," and "Giltia the D. Knight" all have どう in their card names yet they do not support "Spellbook" cards and are thus not related to these monsters.
    • Luckily there is no card currently that must be used with a "Madou/Magical" monster. All current members and support only work with either "Spellbook" spell cards or Spellcaster-Type monsters.
