Ring of Destruction can win the duel for you if your opponent is low on life points and you have enough to spare. With Ring of Destruction, you can remove either one of your opponent's monsters, or one of your own, from the field, and inflict damage equal to the current ATK (That includes any Spell, Trap, or Effect changes) to both players Life Points.
It can also force a draw by bringing both players Life Points down to 0 at the same time, and it's effect of dealing damage to it's controller can be negated by Ring of Defense or inflicted to your opponent with Barrel Behind the Door. Ring of Destruction is not to be confused with Destruction Ring.
