GX1 images

Hello MiSsInGnO, when you upload screenshots of video games, per our image policy, they must be at the native resolution of the game; the ones you've been uploading for GX1/Duel Academy are oversize (they appear to be 2x scaled). Hello, thanks for the notification. I re-uploaded the screenshots with the proper resolution.

I'm also wondering what the language code should be in those image filenames (I based the names on the language used for Eternal Duelist Soul screenshots, that is "NA", but later found out that World Championship 2004 uses "EN" for similar screenshots). I'm not sure what the rationale is in this case to choose one over the other.

It kind of depends on how the game was actually released: if the game had differences between its North American and European English releases, we'd need to be able to distinguish the images from them. I don't think Duel Academy had separate versions for North America and Europe (that is, both regions used the same ROM), in which case such distinction isn't necessary, and the images could just be named "EN". If this is correct, since it looks like only a single English image has been uploaded so far, I can change things over (it isn't required to upload the image under the new filename; I can simply rename it). 「ディノ奴千？！」^{☎ Dinoguy1000} 22:41, 31 May 2023 (UTC)

I've renamed BEWD's image and changed {{Duel Academy card}} to check under EN for images, but as it turns out we already had a number of images of just the cards themselves uploaded (e.g. File:BlueEyesWhiteDragon-GX1-EN-VG-card.png). I've renamed the ones I saw to have -card at the end of the filename, but likely missed some; if you spot any others while uploading, list them here and I (or another mover) can rename them.

Feel free to start a forum thread like the ones I linked to on the initial message I left on your bot's talk page. You can (and should) do so using your user account (i.e., this one) and you can edit your bot account page with your user account too. And that's advisable by me. Use your real account to perform regular edits and use the bot just for mass, automated tasks.

The block can be lifted sooner if you are eligible for a bot flag on your bot account.
