"Charisma Duelist: Go Onizuka" is the forth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS anime. It first aired in Japan on May 31, 2017.

The true identity of the Knights of Hanoi who suddenly appears is Go Onizuka, a Charisma Duelist. As the new hero of Link VRAINS, Playmaker has stolen away some of GO's fans. In order to regain their support, GO challenges Playmaker to a Duel.

Featured Duel: Playmaker vs. Go Onizuka

The Duel is conducted as a Speed Duel.

Turn 1: Go Onizuka
Go Normal Summons "Gouki Suplex Rex" (1800/0). As "Suplex Rex" was Normal Summoned, Go activates its effect, allowing him to Special Summon a "Gouki" monster from his hand. He Special Summons "Gouki Twist Cobra" (1600/0) in Attack Position.

Turn 2: Playmaker
Playmaker Sets a card. As he controls no monsters, Playmaker Special Summons "Linkslayer" (2000/600) by its own effect. He Normal Summons "Cyberse Wizard" (1800/800). Playmaker activates the effect of "Wizard", allowing him to change a monster on the field from Attack Position to Defense Position and letting Cyberse monsters inflict piercing battle damage this turn, but Playmaker's monsters can only attack the affected monster this turn. Playmaker targets "Suplex Rex". "Linkslayer" attacks and destroys "Suplex Rex" (Go: 4000 → 2000 LP). As "Suplex Rex" was sent from the field to the GY, Go activates its effect, letting him add a "Gouki" card from his Deck to his hand. He adds "Gouki Rising Scorpio". Go activates his Skill, "Fighting Spirit", letting him Special Summon all destroyed "Gouki" monsters this turn from his GY. He Special Summons "Suplex Rex" (1800/0).

Turn 3: Go Onizuka
As all monsters he controls are "Gouki" monsters, Go Normal Summons "Gouki Rising Scorpio" (2300/0) without Tributing by its own effect. Go uses "Suplex Rex", "Twist Cobra", and "Rising Scorpio" to Link Summon "Gouki the Great Ogre" (2600/LINK-3/↙↓↘) in the Extra Monster Zone. As "Suplex Rex", "Twist Cobra" and "Rising Scorpio" were sent to the GY, their effects activate, which allow Go to add a "Gouki" monster from his Deck to his hand. He adds "Gouki Rising Scorpio", "Gouki Rematch", and "Gouki Headbutt Bat". The effect of "Great Ogre" decreases the ATK of all monsters on the field equal to their own original DEF ("Cyberse Wizard": 1800 → 1000, "Linkslayer": 2000 → 1400).

Go activates "Gouki Rematch", allowing him to Special Summon two "Gouki" monsters from his Graveyard in Defense Position. Go Special Summons "Rising Scorpio" (2300/0) and "Twist Cobra" (1600/0). Go activates the effect of "Twist Cobra", allowing him to Tribute a "Gouki" monster, and increase the ATK of another "Gouki" monster he controls by the Tributed monster's ATK. Go Tributes "Rising Scorpio" and targets "Great Ogre" ("Great Ogre": 2600 → 4900). Go activates the effect of "Headbutt Bat" in his hand, sending another "Gouki" monster from his hand to the GY, Special Summon it in Defense Position from his hand, and increase the ATK of a "Gouki" monster he controls by 800 until the end of the turn. He Special Summons "Headbutt Bat" (800/0) and targets "Great Ogre" ("Great Ogre": 4900 → 5700).

Duel continues in the next episode.
