- In episode 12, Shark uses this card during his Tag-Team Duel with Yuma Tsukumo against Scorch and Chills. He adds this card to Yuma's hand via "Final Offering". Later Yuma activates this card to equip "Number 39: Utopia" in his Graveyard to "Black Ray Lancer" (revived under Yuma's control via "Monster Reborn") and make the name and ATK of "Black Ray Lancer" the same as "Utopia". After "Black Ray Lancer" attacks and destroys "Number 61: Volcasaurus" (whose ATK was 2000 due to the effect of "Needle Sunfish"), Yuma activates this card's second effect to send "Utopia" to the Graveyard and allow "Black Ray Lancer" to attack again. After the Duel, Yuma tries to return this card to Shark as it's his card, but Shark tells him to keep it as he's improved a bit now to earn it.
- In episode 22, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Mr. Kay has when he explains to Shark that people who have made contact with Yuma have their hearts illuminated without noticing.
- In episode 62, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Shark has when he remembers Yuma is his friend and that Vetrix arranged for his sister to be critically injured.
- In episode 112, this card can be seen on Yuma's desk as he mourns the loss of Astral.
- In episode 116, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Trey has when he explains that the reason Yuma repeatedly visits the places from his memories is because Yuma always believes that he will one day meet Astral again.
- In episode 121, this card appears in Shark's memories as he remembers his fond memories with Yuma, Astral, Kite Tenjo before he ultimately chooses to help Barian World.
