In episode 84, an Obelisk Blue student uses this card during his Duel against Bastion Misawa as part of the Genex Tournament. This card didn't play any actual role in the duel aside from being on the field. After Bastion summons "Litmus Doom Swordsman", he realized that he will lose if he uses his "Swordsman" to attack "Familiar-Possessed - Hiita" due to this card's effect, so he Tributes his "Litmus Doom Swordsman" in order to Special Summon "Plasma Warrior Eitom" who can bypass this card's effect by attacking the student directly. Bastion then activates "Eitom's" effect to halve its ATK until the End Phase in order to allow it to attack directly this turn. "Eitom" then attacks the student directly, winning Bastion the Duel.

In episode 157, this card can be seen on the table of Ms. Dorothy's card shop as part of a group of cards that were thought to be defective by their owners (they were actually infected with darkness).

In episode 10, during Yusei Fudo's Ground Duel against Mr. Armstrong, Yusei sends this card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard via the effect of "Poison Chain".
