Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's[edit]

Dark Signers[edit]

  • In episode 31, Crow uses this card during his Tag Turbo Duel with Yusei Fudo against two Sector Security officers. He Special Summons this card via its own effect. He then activates this card's effect to halve the ATK and DEF of "Gate Blocker 2" until the End Phase, but one of the officers activates "Defender's Mind" to double the DEF of "Gate Blocker 2". Crow then tunes "Bora the Spear" with this card in order to Synchro Summon "Blackwing Armor Master". On Crow's End Phase, this card's effect expires.
  • In episode 43, Crow uses this card during his Ground Duel against Lazar. He Special Summons this card via its own effect. On Crow's next turn, he uses "Bora the Spear" to attack directly, but Lazar activates "Imperial Manners" to destroy all Attack Position monsters Crow controls. Crow then activates "Urgent Tuning" to immediately Synchro Summon a Synchro Monster, but Lazar activates "Discord" to forbid both players from Synchro Summoning. The effect of "Imperial Manners" then destroys this card and "Bora the Spear".
  • In episode 50, this card is seen on the wall as a stone tablet in Zeman's castle as one of the prisoners trapped in stone tablets.
  • In episode 54, this card appears in a flashback Yusei has when he notes that the reason why he stayed by Kalin's side when Crow and Jack left was because they were friends. Crow uses this card during his Ground Duel against one of his friends (this Duel involved no holograms or Duel Disks). Right after summoning this card, the Duel gets canceled as Crow is informed by one of his other friends that Kalin Kessler had attacked Sector Security.

Pre-World Racing Grand Prix[edit]

  • In episode 68, Crow uses this card during his Ground Duel against Bashford. He Special Summons this card via its own effect. Crow then activates this card's effect to halve the ATK and DEF of "Paternal Junk" (whose ATK was 2600 due to its own effect and the effect of "Junk Factory") until the End Phase. After "Bora the Spear" attacks "Paternal Junk" and Bashford activates "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" to negate the attack, this card then attacks "Paternal Junk". Crow then sends "Blackwing - Kalut the Moon Shadow" from his hand to the Graveyard via its own effect in order to increase this card's ATK by 1400. This card then destroys "Paternal Junk". On Crow's End Phase, the effect of "Kalut the Moon Shadow" expires. On the last turn of the Duel, "Paternal Junk" attacks and destroys this card. "Junk Barrage" then inflicts damage to Crow equal to half of this card's ATK. Crow then activates "Black Thunder" to inflict 400 damage to Bashford for every card on his side of the field. Since there are seven cards on Bashford's side of the field, he takes 2800 damage, winning Crow the Duel.
  • In episode 85, Crow uses this card during his Ground Duel against Lyndon. He Special Summons this card via its own effect. This card then attacks "Monster Clock", but Lyndon activates the effect of "Monster Clock" to equip itself with this card and increase its ATK by this card's ATK. This card remained equipped onto "Monster Clock" until the Duel was over.
  • In episode 94, this card is shown in a flashback Crow has when he explains to Yusei his backstory with Bolton, himself, and Robert Pearson. Pearson was shown using this card in his Tag Duel with Bolton against two unknown people. This card was on the field, but it was removed from the field through unknown means at an unspecified point as the flashback then showed Pearson summoning forth "Black-Winged Dragon".

World Racing Grand Prix[edit]

  • In episode 104, this card is shown in Crow's hand during his Turbo Duel against Hermann. In the next episode, Crow Special Summons this card from his hand via its own effect. Crow then activates this card's effect to halve the ATK and DEF of "Hook the Hidden Knight" until the End Phase. This card then attacks "Hook the Hidden Knight", but Hermann activates the effect of "Hook the Hidden Knight" to switch both battling monsters to Defense Position. The second effect of "Hook the Hidden Knight" then inflicts 800 damage to Crow. The shadow phantom once again tries to grab Crow's wheel, but Crow again dodges it despite his injured arm. After Crow activates "Urgent Tuning" to allow himself to Synchro Summon one Synchro Monster during the Battle Phase and Hermann activates "Shadow Concealing Darkness", Crow tunes "Sirocco the Dawn" with this card in order to Synchro Summon "Black-Winged Dragon".
  • In episode 114, Crow uses this card during his Ground Duel against Lazar. He Special Summons this card via its own effect. Lazar then activates "Discord" to prevent Synchro Summons from occurring for three turns. Crow then activates this card's effect to halve the ATK and DEF of "Jester Lord" until the End Phase. Crow then activates the effect of "Sirocco the Dawn" to increase this card's ATK by the ATK of all other "Blackwings" Crow controls until the End Phase, but Lazar activates "Tuning Barrier" to prevent Crow from attacking while he has a Tuner Monster on his field and/or in his Graveyard. Crow then banishes this card and "Sirocco the Dawn" in order to Special Summon "Blackwing - Aurora the Northern Lights".
  • In episode 126, Crow uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Broder. He Special Summons this card via its own effect. Crow then activates this card's effect to halve the ATK and DEF of "Thor, Lord of the Aesir" until the End Phase. After Crow Special Summons "Blackwing - Calima the Haze" via its own effect (as the total Levels of Crow's Blackwing monsters total at least 8), Crow tunes "Calima the Haze" with this card in order to Synchro Summon "Blackwing Armor Master". Later Crow revives this card via the effect of "Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North". After Crow activates this card's effect to halve the ATK and DEF of "Thor, Lord of the Aesir" until the End Phase, Crow tunes "Blackwing - Brisote the Tailwind" with this card in order to Synchro Summon "Black-Winged Dragon".
  • This card's attack name is Black Scratch.
