- In episode 79, Lotus Hanazoe uses this card during her Duel against Rio Kastle while the former was possessed by the Barians. She Xyz Summons this card via "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force", which targeted "Battlecruiser Dianthus". Due to the second effect of "Zen Garden", this card gains 400 ATK due to it being Rank 4. Lotus then activates this card's effect to detach an Overlay unit and inflict 500 damage to Rio for each card on the field, but Rio activates "Diamond Dust" to destroy "Blizzard Falcon" and inflict 500 damage to Lotus. This makes Rio takes only 2000 damage from this card's effect since only five cards were on the field at the time. This card then attacks directly, but Rio activates "Ice Chain" to Special Summon "Aurora Wing". A replay occurs, and Lotus uses this card to attack and destroy "Aurora Wing". On the last turn of the Duel, Rio activates the effect of "Ice Beast Zerofyne" to negate all other face-up cards and reduce this card's ATK by 900 (300 for each card that had its effects negated). With "Zen Garden" negated, this card and "Ice Beast Zerofyne" lost the ATK boost they got from its second effect. Lotus then activates "Flower Judgment" to detach all this card's Overlay Units and increase its ATK by 1600 (800 for each Overlay Unit detached). Rio then activates "Freezing Point" to reduce this card's ATK to 0 as it had no Overlay Units. "Ice Beast Zerofyne" then attacks and destroys this card, winning Rio the Duel.
