- In the non-canon duel North American WCQ 2013 Special: Kaiba Vs Pegasus, Kaiba first activates this card by banishing "White Stone of Legend" to increase the ATK of "Maiden with Eyes of Blue". He uses the effect again by banishing "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" to increase the ATK of "Hitotsu-Me Giant". The next turn, he banishes another "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" to increase the ATK of "Slate Warrior". This card is then sent to the Graveyard by Kaiba's "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End", activating its second effect to summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from the Graveyard. It is made explicit in this duel that the perceived anime effect of this card cannot Miss the Timing since its anime effect says "If this card is sent..." instead of "When this card is sent....."
- Pegasus then said that he will make sure to reprint every copy of "Castle of Dragon Souls" to change the text "If this card is sent...." to "When this card is sent...." before the "Saga of Blue-Eyes White Dragon Structure Deck" becomes available.
