Card Appearances:Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle
- In episode 106, Jesse Anderson uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. He Special Summons this card via the effect of "Triggered Summon". "Elemental HERO Neos" and "Neo-Spacian Grand Mole" then attack and destroy "Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise" and this card respectively. Jesse then activates the last effect of "Emerald Tortoise" and this card in order to place both monsters in his Spell & Trap Card Zone as Continuous Spell Cards. In the next episode, Jesse Special Summons this card, "Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat", and "Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth" from his Spell & Trap Card Zone via the second effect of "Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle". After "Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus" and "Amethyst Cat" had attacked, this card attacks and destroys "Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird". This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
- In episode 108, this card is shown in a flashback Thelonious Viper has when he notes that all the Duel Energy he just got was from the exhibition match between Jaden and Jesse.
- In episode 115, Jesse uses this card during his duel against Trapper. When "Infernal Blasthound" attacks directly, Jesse activates "G Force" to Special Summon this card from his hand and make it "Infernal Blasthound's" new attack target, but Trapper activates "Trap Jammer" to negate the effect of "G Force" and destroy it. This causes this card to go back to Jesse's hand. The direct attack then continues. The first effect of "Infernal Blasthound" then activates, destroying this card. This card's last effect then activates, allowing Jesse to place this card in his Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card. In the next episode, Jesse sends this card to the Graveyard in order to activate "Rare Value".
- In the second above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback Jesse has when he remembers obtaining the Crystal Beasts from Maximillion Pegasus. Pegasus claims to Jesse that the Crystal Beasts chose him to be their wielder as he could connect his heart to Duel Monster Spirits.
- In episode 121, Jesse uses this card during his duel against Titan, the Rock Spirit. After Jesse summons this card, he uses this card to attack "Sand Doodlebug", but Titan activates the third effect of "Sand Doodlebug" to negate the attack. On the last turn of the duel, Jesse uses this card and "Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus" to attack directly and win the duel.
- In episode 129, Jesse summons this card to help him and Axel Brodie. Later a "Morinphen" and an "Ocubeam" attack this card, but Axel saves it by shooting two "Volcanic Shells" at the attacking monsters. Axel later shoots three "Volcanic Scattershots" at an "Insect Soldiers of the Sky", a "Whiptail Crow" and a "Dark Chimera" to prevent them from attacking this monster. This card eventually found the "Rainbow Dragon" card. Jesse and Axel then got to the location of the capsule. After "Rainbow Dragon" saves Jesse from a "Sand Doodlebug", Jesse recalls this card back.
- In episode 130, Jesse uses this card during his Tag Duel with Jaden against Marcel Bonaparte while the latter was possessed by Yubel. He places this card into his Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card via the effect of "Crystal Flash". On the last turn of the Duel, Yubel regains her physical form and takes over in Marcel's place. She then activates the second effect of "Chaos Phantasm Armityle" in order to inflict 10000 Battle Damage to "Elemental HERO Chaos Neos", but Jesse activates "Prism Wall" to redirect the effect to "Rainbow Dragon". Jesse then activates the first effect of "Rainbow Dragon" to send this card, "Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger", "Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise", "Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth", "Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus", and "Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat" to the Graveyard and increase the ATK of "Rainbow Dragon" by 1000 for each Crystal Beast sent to the Graveyard to this way. With six sent this way, "Rainbow Dragon" gains 6000 ATK, allowing it to survive the effect of "Armityle". The last effect of "Prism Wall" then activates, inflicting damage to Yubel and Jesse equal to the new ATK of "Rainbow Dragon" and defeating both of them.
- In episode 172, Jesse uses this card during his duel against Jaden while the latter was thinking that Jesse was Trueman (This was due to the darkness from "Arcana Force 0 - The Fool" infecting Jaden's "Polymerization" card). After he Normal Summons this card, Jesse activates "Golden Rule" and equips it to this card. This activates the first effect of "Golden Rule", allowing Jesse to take "Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle" and "Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise" from his Deck and place them in his Spell & Trap Card Zone as Continuous Spell Cards Jesse then activates the second effect of "Golden Rule" to Special Summon "Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat" from his hand. After Jesse sends "Ruby Carbuncle" to the Graveyard in order to activate "Rare Value", this card is destroyed. After Jesse activates "Crystal Spring", he activates this card's effect to return "Emerald Tortoise" to the top of his Deck. On Jaden's next turn, "Elemental HERO Tempest" attacks this card, but Jesse activates "Mine Blast" to send the top five cards of his Deck (which included "Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus", "Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth", and "Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise") to the Graveyard. He then activates "Rainbow Gravity" to Special Summon "Rainbow Dragon" from his Deck, ignoring the summoning conditions. Due to the last effect of "Rainbow Gravity", "Tempest" is forced to attack "Rainbow Dragon" instead of this card. "Rainbow Dragon" then destroys "Tempest". The force of this attack was so strong that it knocked "Polymerization" out of Jaden's Graveyard. This purifies Jaden's "Polymerization" card of the darkness that tainted it. Jaden then sees that he is Dueling Jesse, so the duel is called off, ending with no result.
- In episode 175, Jesse uses this card during his Triangle Duel against Jaden and Yusuke Fujiwara. He discards this card due to the WATER effect of "Clear World". Later Jesse activates "Sapphire Revive" to Special Summon "Elemental HERO Burstinatrix" from Jaden's Graveyard to his side of the field and revive this card. In the next episode, this card attacks "Clear Vice Dragon", but Yusuke activates "Attribute Gravity" to make this card attack "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman" instead (since they both have the same Attribute). "Flame Wingman" then destroys this card. Jesse then activates this card's last effect to placeit in his Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card. Later Jesse activates the second effect of "Rainbow Dragon" to return all cards on the field to their owners' Decks.
- In the dub, Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle has a voice imitative of Don Adams.
- When the Crystal Beasts appear to speak with Jaden during the episode 152, this beast is shown wearing sunglasses while standing on the shell of "Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise".
