Season 1[edit]

  • In episode 8, Zane Truesdale uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. He summons this card via "Polymerization". This card then attacks "Elemental HERO Thunder Giant", but Jaden activates "A Hero Emerges" to make Zane choose one card in his hand. Zane then chooses a card and it's revealed to be "Wroughtweiler". Because of that, Jaden Special Summons "Wroughtweiler" from his hand. A replay occurs and Zane uses this card to attack and destroy "Thunder Giant". Zane then uses this card to attack and destroy "Wroughtweiler" since this card can attack twice during each Battle Phase. Jaden then activates the effect of "Wroughtweiler" to add "Elemental HERO Clayman" and "Polymerization" from his Graveyard to his hand. On the last turn of the duel, Zane activates "De-Fusion" to return this card to his Extra Deck and Special Summon his two "Cyber Dragons" from the Graveyard.
  • In episode 51, this card appears in a flashback Jaden has when he wonders if Zane used "Different Dimension Capsule" to banish "Power Bond" like in their last Duel and is planning to use the same strategy he used in that Duel.

Season 2[edit]

  • In episode 57, Zane uses this card during his Duel against Aster Phoenix. He summons this card via "Power Bond". Due to the effect of "Power Bond", this card's ATK is doubled. This card then attacks "Elemental HERO Phoenix Enforcer". Due to the latter's effect, it is not destroyed, but Aster still takes Battle Damage. This card then attacks "Phoenix Enforcer" again due to its own effect, but Aster activates "Elemental Recharge" to increase his Life Points by 1000 before the attack hits. "Phoenix Enforcer" was not destroyed due to its own effect, but Aster still takes Battle Damage. On Zane's End Phase, the final effect of "Power Bond" inflicts damage to Zane equal to this card's original ATK. After Aster summons "Elemental HERO Sparkman" and equips it with "Spark Blaster", he activates "Guard Penalty". Aster then activates the effect of "Spark Blaster" three times to switch this card to Defense Position, then to Attack Position, and then back to Defense Position. After that resolves, "Spark Blaster" is destroyed. The effect of "Guard Penalty" then activates, allowing Aster to draw two cards since a Monster was switched to Defense Position twice this turn. After Aster Fusion Summons "Elemental HERO Shining Phoenix Enforcer", "Shining Phoenix Enforcer" (whose ATK was 3700 due to its own effect) attacks and destroys this card.
  • In episode 65, Zane attempts to summon this card via the effect of "Future Fusion" during his Duel against Mad Dog. Mad Dog, in response to Zane activating "Future Fusion", activates "Jammer Slime" to negate the effect of "Future Fusion" and destroy it.
  • In episode 66, this card appears in a flashback Jaden has when he sees Wheeler as Zane which makes Jaden remember his first Duel against Zane.

Season 3[edit]

  • In episode 147, Zane uses this card during his duel against Jesse Anderson while the latter was possessed by Yubel. He summons this card via "Polymerization". This card then attacks and destroys "Advanced Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus", but Jesse activates the second effect of "Advanced Dark" to nullify the damage he would take. Jesse then activates the last effect of "Sapphire Pegasus" to place it in his Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card. This card then attacks and destroys "Advanced Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat" since this card can attack twice during each Battle Phase, but Jesse activates the second effect of "Advanced Dark" to nullify the damage he would take. Jesse then activates the last effect of "Amethyst Cat" to place it in his Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card. After "Cyber Barrier Dragon" attacks and destroys "Advanced Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle", Zane activates "De-Fusion" to return this card to the Extra Deck and Special Summon two "Cyber Dragons" from his Graveyard.

Season 4[edit]

  • In episode 164, during Syrus's Duel against Makoto, this card is shown as part of Syrus' Extra Deck when he activates "Fusion Guard".
    • This card can also be seen in Syrus's thoughts when he explains to Makoto Inotsume that he, Zane, and Jaden will continue to grow despite the odds and his Deck will also keep searching for ways to evolve better.
