- In episode 17, Bonz uses this card during his Duel against Joey Wheeler. He Special Summons "Crawling Dragon" via "Call of the Haunted" which in turn made "Dragon Zombie". This card then gained a Field Power Bonus. Bonz then uses this card to attack and destroy "Axe Raider". In the next episode, Bonz summons "Pumpking the King of Ghosts" and uses its effect to power up his other Zombie-type monsters. This card then attacks and destroys "Kojikocy". On Bonz's next turn, "Pumpking" powers up Bonz's other Zombies again. This card then attacks and destroys "Armored Lizard". On Bonz's next turn, "Pumpking" powers up Bonz's other Zombies again. This card then attacks and destroys "Glass Man". On Bonz's next turn, "Pumpking" powers up Bonz's other Zombies again. This card then attacks and destroys "Masaki the Legendary Swordsman". On Bonz's next turn, "Pumpking" powers up Bonz's other Zombies again. Bonz then sets "Stop Defense" and warns Joey if he summons another monster in Defense Position, he will activate "Stop Defense" in response. This card then attacks and destroys "Tiger Axe". On Bonz's next turn, this card attacks and destroys "Red-Eyes Black Dragon". Later Joey activates "Shield & Sword" to swap the ATK and DEF of all monsters on the field, which makes the ATK of Bonz's monsters 0. Joey then uses "Battle Warrior" to attack and destroy this card, winning him the duel.
- In episode 43, Joey, Mokuba Kaiba and Yugi Muto encounter this monster along with "Armored Zombie" and "Clown Zombie" in a Graveyard area. Although the trio were able to successfully destroy them with "Rude Kaiser" and "Dark Magician", they came back even stronger. Joey, without thinking, used his "Flame Swordsman" to attack and destroy this monster, but it came back even stronger. This monster then attacks and destroys "Flame Swordsman". Joey then activates "Shield & Sword" to make the Zombies' ATK 0, allowing Yugi's "Dark Magician" to destroy them for good.
- In episode 79, Bonz uses this card during his duel against Yami Bakura. After he summons this card, Bonz activates "Premature Burial" to revive "The Snake Hair". Bonz then activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "The Snake Hair" in order to Fusion Summon "Great Mammoth of Goldfine".
- In episode 82, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when Bakura reveals what kind of Deck he uses and Joeys asks if it's similar to Bonz's Deck.
- Its attack name was Deadly Zombie Breath.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX[edit]
- In episode 131, this card is shown in a flashback explained by Chancellor Sheppard when he explains to Jaden Yuki's friends about Jaden's relation to Yubel. Jaden is shown using this card during his Duel against Osamu. Osamu uses this card during his Duel against Jaden. After Osamu activates "Perfect Counter Code 123" to negate the summon of "Yubel" and destroy it, Osamu uses this card, "Clown Zombie", and "Skull Servant" to attack directly and win him the duel.
- In episode 150, this card is shown in a flashback Jaden has when a memory bubble hits him and he sees himself as a child. Jaden notes that Yubel brought him, his friends, and his allies to the alternate dimension for a reason.
- In episode 153, this card is seen in a flashback Jaden has when he recognizes Osamu.
