- In episode 98, Vector uses this card during his Duel against Astral while the latter was corrupted by darkness and had fused with Yuma Tsukumo to create Dark ZEXAL. When "Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray V" attacks "Number 104: Masquerade" a second time via the final effect of "DZW - Chimera Clad". Vector activates this card to prevent his monster's destruction and allow "Utopia Ray V" to attack "Masquerade" again. "Utopia Ray V" then attacks "Masquerade" again, but this card's final effect makes the ATK of "Masquerade" equal to the ATK of "Utopia Ray V" plus 100. The third effect of "Chimera Clad" prevents "Utopia Ray V" from being destroyed and Astral activates the final effect of "Chimera Clad" to double the ATK of "Utopia Ray V" and let it attack again. The reckless loop Astral conducted with "Chimera Clad" is repeated three more times, resulting in the ATK of "Utopia Ray V" becoming 83200 and the ATK of "Masquerade" becoming 41700 (Due to the darkness corrupting Astral, he didn't care about the reckless attacks and damage he took). "Utopia Ray V" attacks again, but Yuma cancels Dark ZEXAL at this point (removing the darkness's influence over Astral) and ends his turn to avoid losing the Duel.
