- "Gravekeeper's Guard" appeared as the "Gravekeeper's Chief's" bodyguard.
- In episode 27, Gravekeeper's Chief uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. He sets this card in Defense Position. On the Chief's next turn, he Flip Summons this card. This activates this card's effect, returning "Elemental Hero Bubbleman" to Jaden's hand. This card and "Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier" then attack directly. On the Chief's next turn, he switches this card to Defense Position. "Elemental Hero Flame Wingman" then attacks and destroys this card. "Flame Wingman" then inflicts damage to the Chief equal to this card's ATK.
- In the original, this card's attack name is Guard Whirlwind Strike and its effect name is Gravekeeper's Barrier Wave.
