  • In episode 63, Weevil Underwood uses this card during his duel against Joey Wheeler. When "Tiny Guardian" attacks "Larvae Moth" (who was equipped with "Cocoon of Evolution"), Weevil activates this card to prevent Joey's Insect-type monsters from attacking. Since "Tiny Guardian" was an Insect-type monster due to the effect of "Reckless Parasite", the attack was negated. In the next episode, Joey Normal Summons "Gearfried the Iron Knight" whose type could not be changed by any card effect due to its own effect. As a result, "Gearfried the Iron Knight" was free to bypass this card's effect and attack and destroy Weevil's "Insect Monster Tokens" (who were completely defenseless against the attacks). This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card appeared on the screen of the laptop that Kenta was using when he was trying to let Serenity Wheeler know how the Duel between Joey and Weevil was going. In the second above-mentioned episode, this card was still shown on the screen of the laptop.
  • In episode 74, this card appears within a series of flashbacks that show all of Joey's Duels in Battle City.
  • In episode 160, Weevil uses this card during his Duel his duel against Yami Yugi. He activates this card after "Pheromone Wasp" attacks directly. In the next episode, "Gaia the Dragon Champion" attacks "Leghul", but Weevil activates "DNA Surgery" and declared Insect for its effect. This turns "Gaia the Dragon Champion" into an Insect-type monster. The attack that "Gaia the Dragon Champion" just made was then nullified due to this card's effect. This also prevented Yami Yugi from attacking any of Weevil's monsters. In the following episode, Yami Yugi activates the effect of "Breaker the Magical Warrior" to remove the Spell Counter on "Breaker" and destroy this card.
    • In the third above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Weevil has when he realizes that Yugi had been planning out his strategy from the very start of his current turn.
