- In episode 177, Jaden Yuki uses this card during his Duel against Nightshroud. He summons this card via "Super Polymerization". This card then attacks and destroys "Darkness Slime" (whose DEF is 2500 and ATK 2000 due it targeting "Elemental HERO Neos" for its effect). This card then inflicts damage to Nightshroud equal to the ATK of "Darkness Slime" and increases Jaden's Life Points by the DEF of "Darkness Slime". In the next episode, Nightshroud activates "Zero" and "Infinity" to activate "Darkness 1" and "Darkness 2" and destroy this card, but it doesn't work, much to Nightshroud's shock. Jaden then reveals that this card can't be destroyed by card effects. Later this card attacks and destroys "Darkness Eye". This card then increases Jaden's Life Points by the DEF of "Darkness Eye", but this card inflicts no damage to Nightshroud since "Darkness Eye" had 0 ATK. On Jaden's next turn, this card attacks "Darkness Seed", but the latter monster isn't destroyed due to its first granted effect. This card then inflicts damage to Nightshroud equal to the ATK of "Darkness Seed" and increases Jaden's Life Points by the DEF of "Darkness Seed". On Jaden's next turn, this card attacks "Darkness Bramble", but Nightshroud activates the effect of "Darkness Raincrow" to send it and "Darkness Bramble" from his hand and field to the Graveyard in order to Special Summon "Darkness Neosphere". A replay occurs and Jaden chooses not to attack. "Darkness Neosphere" then attacks and destroys this card. Jaden then activates this card's final effect to Special Summon "Elemental HERO Neos" from his Graveyard by banishing "Yubel" from his Graveyard.
