Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light[edit]
- Seto Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. After Kaiba summons this card, he uses this card to attack directly. Yami Yugi then summons "Magician's Valkyria" and uses it to attack and destroy this card. Kaiba then activates "Deck Destruction Virus" to force Yugi to discard 10 random cards from his Deck to the Graveyard. Kaiba then banishes this card to Special Summon another copy. Later Yugi's "Magician's Valkyria" (whose ATK was 3600 due to it being powered up by the effect of "Mage Power") attacks "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", but Kaiba activates "Attack Guidance Armor" to redirect the attack to this card, destroying it. This activates the effect of "Deck Destruction Virus again, making Yugi discard 10 random cards from his Deck to the Graveyard. Kaiba then banishes the second copy to Special Summon a third copy. Later "Sorcerer of Dark Magic" attacks and destroys this card. Kaiba then activates the effect of "Deck Destruction Virus", but "Sorcerer of Dark Magic's" effect negates the effect of "Deck Destruction Virus" and destroys it.
- "Peten the Dark Clown" was a Fiend-type monster in the movie because when it was destroyed in battle, it allowed Kaiba to activate "Deck Destruction Virus". However, if you look closely, you 'll notice in the card that it states "Spellcaster". In addition, Deck Destruction Virus was put in conjunction with this card's effect, which is not possible in the real game as that is missing the timing (in the anime, missing the timing doesn't exist as card effects will always activate if the requirements are correct unless the effect is negated).
- Its attack name is called Bloodlust Slash.
- In the anime, when this card attacks, it teleports behind the opponent and stabs them with a knife.
