- In episode 119, Eliphas uses this card during his Duel against Yuma Tsukumo. After he activates this card, "New Order 8: Etheric Sebek" attacks "Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray Victory" and Yuma activates the effect of "Utopia Ray Victory" to increase its ATK by the ATK of "Etheric Sebek". This card's effect then reduces the ATK of "Utopia Ray Victory" by 3000 (which is equal to the difference between the battling monsters' Ranks times 1000). "Utopia Ray Victory" isn't destroyed due to "Etheric Sebek" not being a "Number" monster, though Yuma takes damage. At the end of the Damage Step, this card's effect expires. "New Order 10: Etheric Horus" then attacks "Utopia Ray Victory" and this card's effect reduces the ATK of "Utopia Ray Victory" by 5000. "Utopia Ray Victory" is not destroyed due to "Etheric Horus" not being a "Number" monster, though Yuma takes damage. At the end of the Damage Step, this card's effect expires. "New Order 12: Etheric Maahes" then attacks "Utopia Ray Victory" and this card's effect reduces the ATK of "Utopia Ray Victory" by 7000. In the next episode, Yuma activates the first effect of "Rainbow Kuriboh" to equip itself to "Etheric Maahes" and prevent it from attacking. This card's effect then expires. In the following episode, "New Order 13: Etheric Amon" (whose ATK was 6100 via its own effect) attacks "Utopia Ray Victory" and this card's effect reduces the ATK of "Utopia Ray Victory" by 8000, but Yuma activates "Purge Ray" by Tributing "Utopia Ray Victory". Later "Number 39: Utopia Roots" (whose ATK was 79200 through its own effect and "Double or Nothing!") attacks "Etheric Amon" and this card's effect reduces the ATK of "Utopia Roots" by 12000. The attack did not destroy "Etheric Amon" due to its second effect, however Eliphas still takes damage. Eliphas's Life Points then dropped to 0, winning Yuma the Duel.
