• In episode 157, Rafael uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He equips this card onto "Backup Gardna", increasing its DEF by 500. This card's presence allowed Rafael to summon "Guardian Kay'est". In the next episode, this card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
• In episode 160, this card appears in a flashback Yami Yugi has when he remembers using "Dark Magician Girl" for the effect of "Catapult Turtle".
• In episode 175, Rafael uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He equips this card onto "Backup Gardna", increasing its DEF by 500. This card's presence allowed Rafael to summon "Guardian Kay'est". This card was later destroyed when Rafael activates the third effect of "Guardian Dreadscythe" to destroy all other monsters on his field.
• The "Guardian" Equip Spell Card names were all shortened. Rod of Silence - Kay'est was shortened to "Rod of Silence".
