• In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 102102: "Freeze Play, Part 1", this card can be seen when Téa Gardner was building her Virtual World Deck for her Duel against Crump. Téa selects this card as she believes it could be useful in the Duel.

• In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 103103: "Freeze Play, Part 2", Téa uses this card during her Duel against Crump. She uses this card to place the latter in one Monster Card Zone as "Dark Magician" for this turn (the anime however depicts Yugi Muto's copy of "Dark Magician" being summoned to Téa's side of the field).

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light

• Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Seto Kaiba. After Yami Yugi activates "Monster Reborn" to revive "Dark Magician Girl", he activates this card to Special Summon "Dark Magician" from his Deck.
