- In episode 2, Yusei Fudo uses this card during his Ground Duel against Lenny. He Normal Summons this card in Defense Position. Later "Chainsaw Insect" attacks this card, but Yusei activates "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" to negate the attack. After that resolves, "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" resets itself. "Metal Armored Bug" then attacks and destroys this card. The effect of "Retribution of the Ant Lion" then activates, inflicting 800 damage to Yusei.
- In episode 5, Yusei uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Jack Atlas. He Normal Summons this card in Defense Position. After "Red Dragon Archfiend" attacks and destroys "Junk Warrior", the first effect of "Red Dragon Archfiend" activates, destroying this card. After "Red Dragon Archfiend" attacks and destroys "Ghost Gardna", the latter's second effect decreases the ATK of "Red Dragon Archfiend" by 1000 until the end of the turn. Yusei then activates "Counterattack Beacon" to have "Stardust Dragon" gain 500 ATK and force "Red Dragon Archfiend" to attack it. Jack then activates "Prideful Roar" to pay Life Points equal to the ATK difference between the two battling monsters and increase the ATK of "Red Dragon Archfiend" by the ATK difference plus 300 (which totals to 1300) during damage calculation only. Yusei then banishes this card from his Graveyard to prevent his "Stardust Dragon" from being destroyed by battle this turn. The attack fails, but Yusei still takes Battle Damage.
- In episode 21, Yusei uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Greiger. After this card is summoned, Greiger activates the first effect of "Flying Fortress SKY FIRE" to destroy this card and inflict 800 damage to Yusei. Later "Dark Strike Fighter" attacks "Junk Synchron", but Yusei banishes this card from his Graveyard to prevent "Junk Synchron" from being destroyed by battle this turn.
- In episode 23, Yusei uses this card during his Ground Duel against Akiza Izinski. He Normal Summons this card in Defense Position In the next episode, Akiza activates "Ivy Shackles" to turn this card into a Plant-type monster during her turn. "Rose Tentacles" then attacks and destroys this card. The second effect of "Rose Tentacles" then inflicts 300 damage to Yusei due to its effect. Later Akiza uses "Black Rose Dragon" to attack "Junk Warrior" (whose ATK was 0 due to the second effect of "Black Rose Dragon"), but Yusei banishes this card from his Graveyard to prevent "Junk Warrior" from being destroyed by battle this turn. Yusei then activates "Spirit Force" to nullify the Battle Damage he would take and add "Junk Synchron" from his Graveyard to his hand.
- In episode 40, Yusei uses this card during his Ground Duel against Akiza Izinski. He summons this card in Defense Position. In the next episode, Akiza activates the second effect of "Black Rose Dragon" effect to reduce this card's ATK to 0 and switch it to Attack Position. "Black Rose Dragon" (whose ATK was 3000 due to "Thorn of Malice") then attacks this card, but Yusei activates "Realize Defense" to switch this card to Defense Position. Due to the fourth effect of "Thorn of Malice", this card is not destroyed, but "Black Rose Dragon" then inflicts piercing damage to Yusei. The third effect of "Thorn of Malice" then decreases this card's ATK and DEF by 600. On Akiza's End Phase, the second effect of "Black Rose Dragon" expires. Later Yusei tunes this card and "Speed Warrior" with "Junk Synchron" in order to Synchro Summon "Stardust Dragon".
- In episode 64, Yusei uses this card during his Turbo Duel with Jack Atlas and Crow Hogan against Rex Goodwin. He Normal Summons this card in Defense Position. On Yusei's next turn, he tunes this card and "Sonic Chick" with "Debris Dragon" in order to Synchro Summon "Stardust Dragon".
- In episode 67, this card is shown flying out of Yusei's Deck while he and his friends were testing out a Duel Runner and it malfunctioned.
- In episode 73, this card appeared in Yusei Fudo's nightmare which involved a Turbo Duel between himself and an unknown opponent. After Yusei Normal Summons "Debris Dragon", he activates its effect to Special Summon "Sonic Chick" from his Graveyard. Yusei then tunes this card and "Sonic Chick" with "Debris Dragon" in order to Synchro Summon "Stardust Dragon".
- In between episode 100 and episode 101, Breo made Yusei send this card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard at an unspecified point during their Turbo Duel against each other.
- In episode 101, Yusei uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Jean. When "Lightning Tricorn" attacks "Junk Destroyer", Yusei banishes this card from the Graveyard to prevent "Junk Destroyer" from being destroyed in battle this turn, however Yusei still takes Battle Damage.
Scripted Duels[edit]
- In the non-canon duel YCS Providence 2012 Special: Yusei vs. Akiza, Yusei Normal Summons this card and uses it as Synchro Material with "Quickdraw Synchron" for "Junk Destroyer". The next turn, Yusei banishes "Shield Warrior" from his Graveyard to prevent his "Junk Destroyer" from being destroyed by battle by Akiza's "Stardust Dragon".
