- In episode 131, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Seto Kaiba. When "Obelisk the Tormentor" attacks "Slifer the Sky Dragon" (whose ATK was 1000 due to its own effect), Yami activates this card to discard his entire hand and draw a card. Yami draws Card of Sanctity and immediately activates it, forcing both players to draw until they had 6 cards in their hand. This increases the ATK of Slifer the Sky Dragon to 6000, but Kaiba activates "Life Shaver" to force Yami to discard two cards since "Life Shaver" was set for two turns. This decreases the ATK of "Slifer" to 4000. The attack continues, destroying both battling monsters in a Double KO.
- In episode 224, Yugi Muto uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. When "Dark Magician" (whose ATK was 2800 due to "Book of Secret Arts") attacks "Silent Magician LV0", Yugi activates this card to discard his entire hand and draw one card. The card is then revealed to be "Card of Sanctity". Because of that, Yugi activates the effect of "Card of Sanctity" immediately, forcing both players to draw until they had six cards. Since Yami drew five new cards, "Silent Magician LV0" gained 2500 ATK. Yami Yugi then activates "Magicians Unite" to make the ATK of "Dark Magician" 3000 for this attack. "Silent Magician LV0" then destroys "Dark Magician".
