- In episode 59, Nistro uses this card during his Duel against Yuma Tsukumo. After "Gagaga Cowboy" (whose ATK was 2500 through its first effect) and "Heroic Champion - Kusanagi" destroy each other in a Double KO, Nistro activates this card to allow both players to Special Summon one Xyz Monster from their Extra Deck with the same Rank as their destroyed Xyz Monster. Nistro Special Summons "Heroic Champion - Excalibur" while Yuma Special Summons "Number 39: Utopia". Due to this card's second effect, "Heroic Champion - Kusanagi" is attached to "Heroic Champion - Excalibur" as an Overlay Unit" while "Gagaga Cowboy" is attached to "Utopia" as an Overlay Unit.
