Card Appearances talk:Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon

In the English (and I think original Japanese), Anubis kept telling Kaiba he could win the duel at any moment after he destroyed the Sorcerer of Dark Magic, but I never really saw how. After hearing of the novelization of the movie, I was hoping that someone could at least shed some light on any unexplained abilities the card might have.
