TCG Rulings
- The effect to increase the DEF of "Card Blocker" can be activated when the attack target is changed by "Card Blocker's" own effect.[1]
- The effect to change the attack target does not target.[1]
- If you have multiple copies of "Card Blocker" on the field, you can only activate 1 of their effects to change the attack target when your opponent's monster attacks.[1]
OCG Rulings
- The effect of "Card Blocker" which changes the attack target does not target.[2]
- Sending up to three cards from your Deck to the Graveyard is a cost to activate the effect of "Card Blocker" which increases its DEF.[2]
- When "Card Blocker" becomes an attack target because of its own effect, you can activate its effect which increases its DEF.[2]
- After changing the attack target with the effect of a card like "Card Blocker" or "White Night Dragon" or "Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth", you cannot activate the effect of a second "Card Blocker" etc.[3]
