Card Rulings:Dinowrestler Martial Anga
OCG Rulings
- This card's effect that can be activated during damage calculation is a Quick Effect that activates in the hand. (It does not target. Sending this card from your hand to the GY is the cost to activate this effect.)[1]
- Even when this effect is applied, battle damage calculation is applied normally, and effects that activate and resolve after damage calculation and at the end of the Damage Step are applied normally.[1]
- This card's effect that Special Summons it from your GY is a Trigger Effect that activates in the GY. (It does not target.)[1]
- This effect does not activate and start a Chain at the time this card is sent to the GY to activate its first effect. This effect is activated and starts a Chain during the End Phase of the turn it was sent to the GY to activate its first effect.[1]
Q&A Rulings
- Q: When I activated the effect of "Dinowrestler Martial Anga" during damage calculation, my opponent activated "Solemn Strike" and negated the activation of that effect. During the End Phase of that turn, can I activate the effect of "Dinowrestler Martial Anga" that Special Summons it from my GY?
- A: Even if the activation was negated as in this scenario, your "Dinowrestler Martial Anga" will be in your GY, so you can activate its effect that Special Summons it during the End Phase of that turn.[2][3]
