These Ruling(s) have not been confirmed as applicable to the TCG.[Notes 1] |
- If the effect of "Gravekeeper's Spy" is activated after it is Flip Summoned and "Torrential Tribute" is chained, then 1 "Gravekeeper's" monster will still be Special Summoned and it wont be destroyed by the effect of "Torrential Tribute".
- "Gravekeeper's Spy" will be Chain Link 1 and "Torrential Tribute" will be Chain Link 2. The Chain resolves backwards. "Torrential Tribute" resolves destroying all monsters on the field. "Gravekeeper's Spy" does not need to be face-up on the field for its effect to properly resolve, so "Gravekeeper's Spy" will resolve and Special Summon a "Gravekeeper" [sic] monster from the Deck.[1]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[2] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - You can select a Gravekeeper whose ATK would be higher than 1500 after being Summoned. For example, if "Necrovalley" is in play, you can use "Gravekeeper's Spy" to Special Summon another "Gravekeeper's Spy", even though its ATK will be 1700 once it is on the field.
