OCG Rulings
- This card's effect that increases the equipped monster's ATK by 300, makes it unaffected by your opponent's card effects, and prevents it from being destroyed by battle once per turn does not start a Chain. (It is an effect applied to the equipped monster.)[1]
- This card's effect that prevents all Cyberse monsters on your field from being destroyed by battle or card effects this turn starts a Chain and activates in the GY. (It can be activated during the Damage Step.)[1]
- This effect does not target. (It is applied to any Cyberse monsters that are face-up in your Monster Zone when the effect resolves.)[1]
- This effect can be activated not only when "Grid Rod" is destroyed by a card effect such as "Mystical Space Typhoon", but also when this card is destroyed as a result of the equipped monster leaving the field.[1]
