Card Rulings:Infernity Launcher
TCG Rulings
- Sending this card from the field to the Graveyard is a cost. The effect targets 1 or 2 monsters in your Graveyard.[1]
- Both effects of Infernity Launcher start a Chain.[1]
- You can add "Infernity" cards that are not monsters to your hand with the effect of Infernity Archfiend, including Infernity Launcher.[1]
- If Infernity Launcher is the only card in your hand you cannot activate it and activate its effect to Special Summon in the same Chain.[1]
- If only 1 of the target monsters is in the Graveyard when the effect to Special Summon resolves, it will still be Special Summoned.[1]
OCG Rulings
- The effect that sends 1 "Infernity" monster from your hand to the Graveyard starts a Chain Link. (It does not target.)[2]
- This effect cannot be activated in the same Chain Link as the activation of the card "Infernity Launcher".[2]
- The effect that Special Summons up to 2 "Infernity" monsters from your Graveyard starts a Chain Link. (Sending the face-up "Infernity Launcher" from your Spell & Trap Zone to the Graveyard is a cost to activate this effect. It can only be activated during your Main Phase.)[2]
- Q: When resolving the effect of an "Infernity Launcher" that was activated by targeting 2 "Infernity" monsters in your Graveyard, if 1 of the "Infernity" monsters is no longer in the Graveyard, can the remaining monster be Special Summoned?
- A: When resolving the effect of "Infernity Launcher", even if the number of targeted "Infernity" monsters was reduced, the remaining monster can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard.[3]
