Card Rulings:Insect Princess
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[1] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - While "Insect Princess" is on your side of the field, if you attack your opponent's face-down Insect-Type monster, it is changed to Attack Position after being flipped face-up (before damage calculation).
- While "Insect Princess" is on your side of the field, your opponent can change the Battle Position of his/her Insect-Type monsters once during his turn, but the Battle Position is immediately changed back to Attack Position.
- When you have "Insect Princess" and a Defense Position "Crass Clown" on your side of the field, and "DNA Surgery" is making "Crass Clown" an Insect-Type, and your opponent takes control of "Crass Clown" with "Change of Heart", "Crass Clown" is changed to Attack Position because of "Insect Princess"' effect and its effect activates.
- "Insect Princess" gains 500 ATK if she destroys an Insect-Type Monster Token.
