OCG Rulings
- This card is treated as a "Lightsworn" monster.[1]
- This card's effect, that banishes a "Lightsworn" monster from the hand or Graveyard to destroy a face-up Spell/Trap Card on the field when a Spell/Trap Card or effect is activated, is a Quick Effect. (It targets 1 face-up Spell/Trap Card you or your opponent controls. It cannot be activated during the Damage Step.)[1]
- This card's effect, that destroys a card, activates such that it is immediately chained to the activation of a Spell/Trap Card or effect.[1]
- The cost to activate this card's effect, that destroys a card, is banishing 1 "Lightsworn" monster from your hand or Graveyard.[1]

- Q: "Supply Squad" is face-up on my opponent’s field. In this situation, if my opponent activates "Mystical Space Typhoon", and I chain the effect of "Lyla, Twilightsworn Enchantress" that destroys a Spell/Trap Card on the field, do I have to target the activated "Mystical Space Typhoon"?
- A: The effect of "Lyla, Twilightsworn Enchantress" must be chained directly to the activation of a Spell/Trap Card or the effect of a Spell/Trap Card, but it can target any other Spell/Trap Card on the field. (In this scenario, you can also target "Supply Squad" with the effect of "Lyla, Twilightsworn Enchantress".)[2]
