OCG Rulings

• The "When this card is targeted for an attack" effect does not target.

• The "During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that targets this face-up card (except during the Damage Step)" effect does not target. (When "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" is targeted by a card effect, you can activate this effect directly in a Chain.)

• You can only use 1 of "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" effect per turn, and only once that turn. You can either use the "When this card is targeted for an attack" effect or the "During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that targets this face-up card (except during the Damage Step)" effect.

• If the "When this card is targeted for an attack" effect of "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" is activated, you choose whether to Special Summon a "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" or not when the effect starts resolving.

• If "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" treated as an Equip Card is targeted by "Raigeki Break", its "During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that targets this face-up card (except during the Damage Step)" effect cannot be activated.

• If "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" is targeted by "Soul Taker" and the "During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that targets this face-up card (except during the Damage Step)" effect of "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" is activated, the effect of "Soul Taker" is not negated and it resolves normally.

• If "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" is targeted during the Damage Step by "Rush Recklessly", its "During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that targets this face-up card (except during the Damage Step)" effect cannot be activated.

• If the "When this card is targeted for an attack" effect of "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" is activated and "Book of Moon" is activated in a Chain flippping "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" face-down, the effect of "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" resolves normally. After the attack is negated, the face-down Defense Position "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" is changed to face-up Attack Position. (Then, a "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" can be Special Summoned.)

• If the "When this card is targeted for an attack" effect of "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" is activated and "Magic Cylinder" is activated in a Chain, since the attack has already been negated, the effect of "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" is not applied. (The attack negation, the battle position change and the Special Summon of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" are not applied.)

• If the "When this card is targeted for an attack" effect of "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" is activated and "Compulsory Evacuation Device" is activated in a Chain causing "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" to leave the field, the attack negation is applied, but the battle position change is not applied. Also, the Special Summon of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" cannot be applied.

• If the "When this card is targeted for an attack" effect of "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" is activated and the attacking monster is flipped face-down by "Book of Moon" or it leaves the field by "Compulsory Evacuation Device", the effect of "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" is not applied. (The attack negation, the battle position change and the Special Summon of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" are not applied.)
