Card Rulings:Nobleman of Extermination
OCG Rulings
- The card is removed from play face-up.[1]
Mentions in Other Rulings
- If "Imperial Iron Wall" is active, cards/effects that destroy and remove from play cards (such as "Nobleman of Crossout", "Bottomless Trap Hole", or "Gandora the Dragon of Destruction") cannot be activated. If "Imperial Iron Wall" is chained to such an effect, then the affected card(s) is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, but is not removed from play. (Also, "Nobleman of Crossout" will not remove any cards from the deck.)[2]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[3] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - If "Nobleman of Extermination" destroys a Trap Card, you and your opponent must briefly show each other your Decks to verify that all copies of the Trap Card have been removed.
- You can select a face-down monster equipped to "Relinquished".
- If the selected card is not face-down when "Nobleman of Extermination" resolves, the effect of "Nobleman of Extermination" disappears.
