- Q: A "Guardian Eatos" on my field is equipped with a "Power of the Guardians" that has 1 Spell Counter on it. In this situation, if my opponent activates "Icarus Attack" and targets both "Guardian Eatos" and "Power of the Guardians", can I apply the effect of "Power of the Guardians" that prevents the equipped monster from being destroyed?
- A: In this scenario, since "Power of the Guardians" has a Spell Counter on it, you can apply its effect even if both it and the equipped monster would be destroyed at the same time by your opponent's "Icarus Attack". (Only "Power of the Guardians" is destroyed by the effect of "Icarus Attack", and "Guardian Eatos" remains on the field.)[1]
