- This card's effect is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target.)[1]
- This effect can be activated at the end of the Damage Step when this attacking card destroys a monster in your opponent's Main Monster Zone by battle.[1]

- Q: When I attack my opponent's "Dragonic Knight" with "Prometeor, the Burning Star", both monsters are destroyed by battle and sent to the GY. In this case, can I activate the effect of "Prometeor, the Burning Star"?
- A: In this scenario, if "Prometeor, the Burning Star" attacks a monster with the same ATK and both monsters are destroyed by battle, you cannot activate the effect of "Prometeor, the Burning Star".[2][3]
