- Q: When I activate "Security Block", targeting a "Decode Talker" on my field, but my opponent chains "Compulsory Evacuation Device" and returns "Decode Talker" to the Extra Deck, how does the effect of "Security Block" resolve?
- A: As in this scenario, if the targeted Cyberse-Type monster is no longer on the field when "Security Block" resolves, the part of the effect that prevents both players from taking battle damage still applies even though the part of the effect that prevents the targeted monster from being destroyed by battle cannot be applied.[1]
- Q: When I activate "Security Block", targeting a "Dual Assembwurm" on my field, but my opponent chains "Book of Moon" and changes "Dual Assembwurm" to face-down Defense Position, how does the effect of "Security Block" resolve?
- A: As in this scenario, if the targeted Cyberse-Type monster is in face-down Defense Position when "Security Block" resolves, both parts of the effect are applied normally.[2]
