- This card's effect that adds 2 "Simorgh" monsters with different Attributes from your Deck to your hand is the effect applied by activating this card. (It does not target.)[1]
- Discarding 1 Winged Beast monster is the cost to activate this card.[1]
- This card's effect that reduces the Level of a Winged Beast monster in your hand by 1 starts a Chain and activates in the Graveyard. (It does not target. Banishing "Simorgh Onslaught" from your GY is the cost to activate this effect, and it can only be activated during your Main Phase.)[1]
- This effect cannot be activated unless you have a Level 2 or higher Winged Beast monster in your hand.[1]
Q&A Rulings
- Q: I activated the second effect of "Simorgh Onslaught", and revealed a "Simorgh, Lord of the Storm" in my hand with its effect. If I then activate the second effect of "Simorgh Repulsion", can I reveal "Simorgh, Lord of the Storm" again?
- A: In this scenario, you can reveal the same monster in your hand with the effect of "Simorgh Repulsion" that was already revealed by the effect of "Simorgh Onslaught" that turn. In that case, each effect is applied, and any copies of "Simorgh, Lord of the Storm" in your hand will have their Levels reduced by 2 this turn.[2][3]
