TCG Rulings

  • Calculate the maximum Level of monster you can Special Summon based on the Level of the Tributed monster when it was on the field.[1]
  • “Super Solar Nutrient” does not target a monster in your hand or Deck. However, it does target the Special Summoned monster after it is Special Summoned.[1]

OCG Rulings

  • Tributing 1 Level 2 or lower Plant monster in your Monster Zone is a cost to activate the card "Super Solar Nutrient". (You can also Tribute a face-down Defense Position monster.)[2]
  • Special Summon 1 Plant monster from your hand or Deck whose Level is less than or equal to the Level of the monster Tributed as a cost +3.[2]
  • The effect that destroys the Special Summoned monster when this card leaves the field and the effect that destroys this card when the Special Summoned monster leaves the field do not start a Chain Link. (They apply even during the Damage Step.)[2]
