Card Rulings:Temple of the Sun
TCG Rulings
- If a monster Special Summoned from the Graveyard is flipped face-down and later flipped face-up, it no longer gains the bonus from "Temple of the Sun."[1]
- If a monster Special Summoned from the Graveyard is removed from play temporarily by "Interdimensional Matter Transporter" and then returned later, it still gains the bonus from "Temple of the Sun."[1]
- If your opponent Special Summons a monster from the Graveyard and you take control of it, it will gain the bonus from "Temple of the Sun" while you control it.[1]
- Monsters Special Summoned before and after the activation of "Temple of the Sun" will still gain the bonus from "Temple of the Sun."[1]
- If there are multiple copies of "Temple of the Sun" their effects are cumulative. (+600 ATK for 2, +900 ATK for 3)[1]
OCG Rulings
- The effect of "Temple of the Sun" does not start a Chain Link.[2]
- If there are 2 copies of "Temple of the Sun" in your Spell & Trap Zones, the effect of each copy is applied, and monsters that were Special Summoned from the Graveyard gain 600 ATK.[2]
- Monsters that were Special Summoned from the Graveyard before the activation of "Temple of the Sun" also gain 300 ATK by the effect of "Temple of the Sun".[2]
- Q: If a monster that was Special Summoned from the Graveyard is flipped face-down and later flipped face-up, does it still gain 300 ATK by the effect of "Temple of the Sun"?
- A: If a monster that was Special Summoned face-up from the Graveyard is flipped face-down and later flipped face-up, it is no longer affected by the effect of "Temple of the Sun".[3]
