- Q: When my opponent activates "Monster Reborn", can I activate the effect of "The Weather Painter Rainbow" that negates the Special Summon?
- A: The effect of "The Weather Painter Rainbow" that negates your opponent's monsters' Special Summons can only be activated when your opponent performs a Special Summon that does not start a Chain, such as a Pendulum Summon, Synchro Summon, Xyz Summon, Link Summon, etc. Therefore, you cannot activate the effect when your opponent activates "Monster Reborn".[1]
- Q: A "The Weather Painter Rainbow" that was Link Summoned is then banished until the End Phase by the effect of "Interdimensional Matter Transporter". In this situation, if my opponent would then Special Summon a monster, can I activate the effect of "The Weather Painter Rainbow" that negates the Special Summon?
